How Does it Work?

Before a session begins, we recommend that the hair in the body area to be treated must be shaved and made flush to the skin. Not shaving can lead to the laser singeing your hair and possibly causing burns to your skin. This is something we want to avoid as much as possible.

An ultrasonic gel is applied on the treatment body part to relieve any bad symptoms and as well as make your treatment comfortable. Then, our technician will adjust the laster’s settings based on treatment needs to get the best result.

When undergoing treatment, a beam of light will be emitted into the hair follicle, damaging it to slow its growth. You will feel a bit of warmth due to the laser. You may also feel a mild stinging sensation, but ultimately the treatment is harmless and doesn’t cause pain.

As we are using a powerful laser, your eyes must be protected with a special pair of goggles.
